    Guidelines: 1 octave memorized, quarter=72 bpm, tongued

Music Theory:  Unit 2 
Concert Music:  Nottingham Castle; Two Dances from "Capriol Suite"; Open Road

Rudiments (percussion only):  5 and 9 Stroke Roll (open-closed-open format or slow-fast-slow)


7th Grade Band

Scales:  Concert G (pg. 16 Foundations)--also on MPS scale sheet
    Guidelines: 2 octaves memorized, quarter=84 bpm, tongued

Use MPS scale sheet for the actual playing test
