6th Grade - Mr. Tim Lucks 402-715-8509

 

My name is Tim Lucks. This is my 4th year as a counselor for Russell Middle School, but my 16th year in education.

I am the high jump coach for the Track team and Boys JV Basketball coach.

When I am not at school, I live a busy lifestyle keeping up with my 3 kids under 10 years old. I enjoy spending time with my wife traveling, going to concerts and exploring new restaurants. In my free time I enjoy working out, playing basketball and family time watching movies and playing games and coaching kids teams.

7th Grade - Mrs. Cari Hagemoser 402-715-8510

My name is Cari Hagemoser and I am in my 7th year as a School Counselor, and 17 years in teaching. I am so excited to see what this school year will bring! 

I enjoy seeing students in and out of the classroom. I run our Cooking Club and work with students in our Student Leadership Team. I also am one of the Teammates facilitators.

You will see me in the hallways, at lunch, and even in some of your classes, feel free to say hi at any time or come down to the Counseling office if something is on your mind!   When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 year old. We enjoy going on family adventures, cooking, being outside, and traveling. We also enjoy cheering on the Huskers and watching baseball.Middle school is a fun time and a time of lots of change. I enjoy meeting and getting to know the students as 6th graders and seeing what all they accomplish at Russell by the time they are in 8th grade.

Cari Hagemoser

8th Grade - Mrs. Stefanie Lorenzen 402-715-8508

My name is Stefanie Lorenzen and this is my 14th year at Russell Middle School as a School Counselor. Before I came to RMS, I was a Social Studies teacher at Millard West High School for 5 years.

I enjoy being involved in our school. I coach Cross Country and Morning Wellness Club. I am also a Student Leadership Team, Teammates, and Hope Squad facilitator, to name a few of my other responsibilities. 

Outside of school, I lead an active lifestyle. I enjoy running. I love to travel and read books. My husband and I enjoy watching football together and trying different restaurants. I have 4 daughters, a son in law, and 3 granddaughters.

Middle School is an exciting, challenging, and memorable time in your life. The best part is that every day YOU get to decide what kind of day it will be...so make it a good day. And remember, life doesn't get better by chance, it gets better by change! If you want something, make it happen!

School Social Worker - Nicole Nelson 402-715-8511

My name is Nicole Nelson and this is my third year at Russell Middle School as the School Social Worker. I am also a long-distance track coach! I am so excited for this upcoming school year. 

When I am not at school, I love to live an active lifestyle. I enjoy running, yoga, cycling and walking! I am a big reader and love mysteries and thrillers! When I am not reading or working out, I like to bake, spend time with my boyfriend and our mini–Australian Shepherd Millie or friends and family! 

As a School Social Worker, I am here to partner with students, families and staff to provide support to optimize the student’s learning environment and reach their goals. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, needs or concerns that arise throughout the school year!
