My name is Cari Hagemoser and I am in my 7th year as a School Counselor, and 17 years in teaching. I am so excited to see what this school year will bring!
I enjoy seeing students in and out of the classroom. I run our Cooking Club and work with students in our Student Leadership Team. I also am one of the Teammates facilitators.
You will see me in the hallways, at lunch, and even in some of your classes, feel free to say hi at any time or come down to the Counseling office if something is on your mind! When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 4 year old. We enjoy going on family adventures, cooking, being outside, and traveling. We also enjoy cheering on the Huskers and watching baseball. Middle school is a fun time and a time of lots of change. I enjoy meeting and getting to know the students as 6th graders and seeing what all they accomplish at Russell by the time they are in 8th grade.
My name is Stefanie Lorenzen and this is my 14th year at Russell Middle School as a School Counselor. Before I came to RMS, I was a Social Studies teacher at Millard West High School for 5 years.
I enjoy being involved in our school. I coach Cross Country and Morning Wellness Club. I am also a Student Leadership Team, Teammates, and Hope Squad facilitator, to name a few of my other responsibilities.
Outside of school, I lead an active lifestyle. I enjoy running. I love to travel and read books. My husband and I enjoy watching football together and trying different restaurants. I have 4 daughters, a son in law, and 3 granddaughters.
Middle School is an exciting, challenging, and memorable time in your life. The best part is that every day YOU get to decide what kind of day it will be...so make it a good day. And remember, life doesn't get better by chance, it gets better by change! If you want something, make it happen!
My name is Tim Lucks. This is my 3rd year as a counselor for Russell Middle School, but my 15th year in education.

When I am not at school, I live a busy lifestyle keeping up with my 3 kids under 9 years old. I enjoy spending time with my wife traveling, going to concerts and exploring new restaurants. In my free time I enjoy working out, playing basketball and family time watching movies and playing games and coaching kids teams.
I am excited to work with all of the students and families at Russell and look forward to meeting all of you. Please visit the Russell counseling parent lounge to help assist you and your child. Also, please feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
Hello! My name is Dr. Kaitlyn Young and I started working with Russell Middle School as a mental health therapist in November 2022. I am also a therapist at Kiewit Middle School and have worked with other middle schools in the Millard Public School District since July 2020.
I love working with students, caregivers, and teachers to help students reach their goals and support their well-being. If you are interested in learning more or starting therapy with me, talk to your school counselor about "meeting with Dr. Young" or therapy.
Outside of school, I spend time weight-lifting, hiking, listening to podcasts, playing games, reading books, and cooking (and of course, a lot of Netflix!). I look forward to meeting with and learning more about you!
My name is Nicole Nelson and this is my second year at Russell Middle School as the School Social Worker. I am also a long-distance track coach! I am so excited for this upcoming school year.
